Manchester United told which two players could solve their right-wing problem

Manchester United should try Alejandro Garnacho on the right flank rather than his favoured left. That's according to former United starlet Nick Powell, who would be intrigued to see either Garnacho or Facundo Pellistri get more opportunities on the right flank amid continued unavailability in the position.

Antony is now under consideration to return to action after missing the last five games while on a leave of absence but Jadon Sancho remains frozen out of the side after his bust-up with Erik ten Hag.

United have won just two of those five games with the manager struggling to find an alternative. Bruno Fernandes has done okay in the unnatural position but Pellistri has been ineffective when finally given a start and Scott McTominay struggled. The Argentine livewire's natural position is on the left but he has found minutes hard to come by in recent weeks with Marcus Rashford returning to the flank upon Rasmus Hojlund's inclusion in the side. “I’d fill the right-wing spot at Manchester United with one of the young boys they have coming through," Powell told MEN Sport, via SkyBet. "I like the look of Pellistri, or Garnacho who I know is better off the left but I'd give him a go on the right.” Though the right flank has been a big problem, United have been hit even harder in defence where they are currently without Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Tyrell Malacia and Sergio Reguilon.
