Manchester United are continuing to monitor Everton duo Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana. Branthwaite, 21, and Onana, 22, started in Everton's 2-0 defeat to United at Old Trafford on Saturday and a source confirmed United still like the duo.
Centre half Branthwaite has excelled in his first season in the Premier League, having spent last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven.
Branthwaite is in the frame for a possible England squad call-up on Thursday and Gareth Southgate's assistant, Steve Holland, was in the Old Trafford directors' box at the weekend.
Belgium midfielder Onana joined Everton in the summer of 2022 for £33million and is under contract until 2027, as is Branthwaite.
