David de Gea and Raphael Varane have both been nursing minor injuries and missed Manchester United's friendly against Melbourne Victory on Friday as a precaution.
De Gea picked up an injury in a collision with Darwin Nunez during the 4-0 win over Liverpool in Bangkok. The Spaniard has since returned to training and was at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, but was left out of the matchday squad.
Varane picked up a knock that Erik ten Hag described as "something small" but is due back soon and could feature in Tuesday's friendly against Crystal Palace, which also takes place at the MCG.
The Frenchman was treated with precaution at the start of the tour, missing the open training session in Bangkok 24 hours before the win against Liverpool, but he did play in that game. "David, you saw against Liverpool he fell out but he trains already, he is back on the training pitch, no big worry," said Ten Hag. "Raphael Varane also training but something small and I expect him back on the training pitch." United ran out 4-1 winners in their first game in Melbourne, with Scott McTominay, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford scoring before a late own goal completed the rout.
