Manchester United are one of several Premier League sides to have been 'offered' Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba, according to reports.

Reds boss Erik ten Hag is thought to be eyeing a new centre-back as he looks to add more quality and depth in that area. Club captain Harry Maguire could leave this summer amid fears over his England place, further emphasising the need for arrivals.

Tapsoba is currently in talks with Tottenham over a move to North London, but the 24-year-old's representatives are keen to drum up interest in their player.

As such, 90min reports that United are one of three other top-flight sides to have been made aware of his availability, along with Liverpool and Newcastle.
