Manchester United have three priorities after securing Luke Shaw future

There's no rest for the wicked and Manchester United will be getting very little of it in the summer. Erik ten Hag has made a great start to life at Old Trafford and has quickly gone about soaring past the targets set for him.

The trophy drought is over, two more tournaments could be won this season and United are on course to return to the Champions League.

But it's a process, a journey, and United are not where they want to be yet. Despite the transformation and progress, they're not at the level to launch a genuine and sustained title challenge.

That will be the aim next season though and in order to get there more smart and lavish spending in the market will be required.
