Manchester United have been given yet another problem to solve in January transfer window

It has become an all too familiar sight this season, as a player in the red shirt of Manchester United hobbles off the pitch injured.

Every Premier League club is dealing with injuries. There are well over 100 players across the 20 teams that are currently unavailable.

But the plague has come down with particular fury at Old Trafford. Erik ten Hag's first-choice back-four has been decimated, with Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez long-term absentees, while Raphael Varane and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have both had spells on the sidelines.

Kobbie Mainoo, Amad and Tyrell Malacia were all injured in pre-season while the likes of Sofyan Amrabat, Mason Mount, Casemiro, Sergio Reguilon, Jonny Evans, Harry Maguire, Tom Heaton and several others have all missed at least one game.
