Manchester United Fan Banned For Mocking Hillsborough Tragedy

A Manchester United fan was fined and banned from football in the UK for four years on Monday, for wearing a replica shirt mocking the Hillsborough disaster.

Police received a number of complaints about James White's shirt with the figure "97" and the words "Not Enough" on the back at the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium earlier this month.

It referred to the 97 fans of United's arch rivals Liverpool who were victims of a crush during an FA Cup semi-final match at the stadium in Sheffield in April 1989.

Pakistan Hockey Federation Bans Five Formers Players For Trying To Make Separate Federation
The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Wednesday imposed a life ban on five former Olympians for trying to form a parallel body. PHF President Tariq Bugti said that former Olympian and internationals Nasir Ali, Khalid Bashir, Saleem Nazim, Abbas Ali and Haider Ali had been banned for life. "The PHF found them guilty of trying to run a parallel federation, stealing PHF records and using funds from a PHF account without approval," Bugti said. Since last year after Brigadier (retd) Sajjad Khokar was forced to resign as PHF chief after being in power for more than two terms, a power-struggle is going on between two groups to take control of the PHF.
