Manchester United could 'reignite' their interest in Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot at the end of this season. That is according to a report by Italian outlet CalcioMercato, which claims United, who will resume their Premier League campaign with a trip to Everton on Sunday are 'always on his trail'.

The Reds attempted to sign the Frenchman in August 2022 but the deal collapsed due to his wage demands. United had agreed a fee with Juventus, understood to be worth £15million, but sources said that he wanted an 'obscene' salary to make the move to Old Trafford.

The Reds, of course, turned to Casemiro instead, signing him from Real Madrid. He is out-of-contract at the Serie A giants next June after signing a one-year contract extension in the summer. As a result of his contractual situation in Italy, the midfielder, 28, is once again being linked with a move to M16.
