Louis Saha has called on Manchester United to sign Marcus Thuram in the summer transfer window. Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Roland Virkus has confirmed Thuram will leave on a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract at the club comes to an end.
Thuram is reportedly interesting a number of Premier League clubs, with United, Chelsea and Newcastle United reported to be among those keen.
The 25-year-old was part of France's World Cup squad in Qatar at the end of last year and has netted 11 goals in 20 appearances so far this season.
United are almost certainly set to be in the market for a new striker in the summer with Wout Weghorst's loan move including no option or obligation to buy, and Anthony Martial potentially among those who could leave amid his ongoing injury problems.
