Manchester United have announced that they have reached an agreement with Ajax to sign Antony, meaning the Brazilian is poised to become their fifth signing of the summer transfer window.
The Reds, who will be going in search of a third successive win when they travel to Leicester City on Thursday night, have agreed a deal worth £85.5million to secure the 22-year-old's signature.
He will join the club subject to passing his medical, putting the finishing touches to personal terms and securing international clearance.
He has been a leading target for United throughout the summer, with manager Erik ten Hag, who worked with him at Ajax, having long since identified him as his favoured choice to strengthen his attacking options.
