A number of Manchester City star players have been pictured on a tram heading towards the treble parade on Deansgate. The team are set to make for the streets of Manchester this evening to celebrate their remarkable triumph after winning the Champions League final in Istanbul this weekend.

Celebrations have already been delayed due to 'adverse weather' conditions, as the region is being battered by heavy rain, hail and thunderstorms this evening. Stars such as Jack Grealish, Phil Foden, Aymeric Laporte, Erling Haaland, John Stones, Ilkay Gundogan, and Ederson were captured smiling and laughing as they made their way to Deansgate.

The players are expected to meet the open-top double-decker bus outside Beetham Tower before it makes its way through the streets of the city centre.
