Manchester United will continue to pursue Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic after receiving encouraging signs from the player’s camp, according to transfer insider Dean Jones. Erik ten Hag has overseen a shocking start to the Premier League season, losing to Brighton and Brentford in their opening two matches, but can still strengthen ahead of the September 1 deadline.
The Athletic reported earlier this week that United were considering a loan move for Pulisic ahead of the transfer window slamming shut.
Pulisic, who cost Chelsea £57 million back in 2019, has also had interest from Newcastle United, Juventus and Atletico Madrid this summer, according to the outlet, but the player prefers a switch to Old Trafford.
They say the American has grown frustrated with his lack of game time under Thomas Tuchel and the club are now willing to listen to offers.
