Legendary Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel has warned Andre Onana that he will be under 'relentless pressure' following his move to Old Trafford.

After it was decided that David de Gea would leave the club following the expiry of his contract at the end of last season, United identified the 27-year-old as their primary target to replace him.

The Reds quickly entered negotiations with Inter Milan to sign the Cameroonian and secured his signature just two days before the opening game of their pre-season tour in the United States last month.

Onana, who worked with Reds boss Erik ten Hag at Ajax, has brought an unrivalled skillset to Old Trafford, featuring world-class distribution qualities.
