Manchester United face a dilemma regarding the future of Marcus Rashford, with the 24-year-old set to fall out of Erik Ten Hag’s starting XI at Old Trafford, according to journalist Dean Jones. The Red Devils splashed more than £200 million on new signings during the summer transfer window and they now have some big personnel decisions once again.
Rashford – who currently earns £200,000 per week – started Sunday’s clash away to Manchester City as United were thrashed 6-3 by their local rivals at the Etihad.
The 46-cap England international was withdrawn just before the hour mark and replaced by Anthony Martial, who went on to score two consolation goals in the closing stages.
New signing Antony scored the other goal with a stunning long-range strike, likely leaving the duo at the forefront of Ten Hag’s plans going forward.
