Manchester United target Josip Juranovic would find it hard to ‘turn down’ a move to Old Trafford, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke. The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from Celtic throughout the summer following an outstanding maiden campaign in Scottish football.
In June, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Juranovic was ‘expected to leave’ the Glasgow giants before the current window closes.
Sky Sports reporter Lyall Thomas then claimed that Atletico Madrid were interested in the Croatia international, but he claimed he ‘didn’t care’ about the speculation in a subsequent interview. “I hope there was something in the stories, but honestly I didn’t even ask our manager or anything about it.
I didn’t care,” Juranovic told RTL (via 90min). “I have to keep my feet firmly on the ground. It was Atletico Madrid after all, but I’m at a big club already, Celtic.” And a recent report from the Daily Mail has claimed that Juranovic has now come onto United’s radar, with Celtic likely to demand around £15 million for the full-back’s services.
