Man City told to consider signing Arsenal player in summer transfer window

manchestereveningnews.co.uk

Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole believes Manchester City should consider turning to Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney if they plan to recruit a new left-back this forthcoming summer.

Nathan Ake, despite spending much of his career as a centre-back, has established himself as City's first-choice left-back this season, particularly because of Joao Cancelo's surprise January switch to Bayern Munich.

Sergio Gomez is considered as the club's alternative option in that position, but many supporters believe they do need to bolster that area in the summer.

The Blues, according to reports elsewhere, have expressed interest in Chelsea and England ace Ben Chilwell, but it remains to be seen if anything will come of that ongoing speculation.
