Manchester City have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Benfica defender Alex Grimaldo as the club look at options away from Brighton's Marc Cucurella.
According to iNews, City are one of several Premier League clubs that the 26-year-old has been offered to and a deal could be done for as little as £15m.
As Pep Guardiola's side struggle to make headway with a deal for Cucurella due to a £50m price tag, a move for Grimaldo could be a much more economical piece of business.
The left-back made 47 appearances for Benfica in all competitions last season and was a key player in a side that made it to the Champions League quarter-finals, eventually losing out to Liverpool.
