Manchester City will have to pay at least €100million (£87m) if they are to signKhvicha Kvaratskhelia, according to reports in Italy.
City are one of four Premier League clubs thought to have sent scouts to watch Kvaratskhelia during Sunday's game between Georgia and Spain.
The winger levelled the score a 1-1 for his side but two second-half goals saw Luis de la Fuente's side win 3-1. The 22-year-old is enjoying another excellent season at club level with Napoli, registering three goals and three assists in 11 Serie A games.
But it was last season where he really stood out as the star player as the Azzurri won their first league title for 33 years.
