Man City learn of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia price-tag and more transfer rumours

Manchester City will have to pay at least €100million (£87m) if they are to signKhvicha Kvaratskhelia, according to reports in Italy.

City are one of four Premier League clubs thought to have sent scouts to watch Kvaratskhelia during Sunday's game between Georgia and Spain. The winger levelled the score a 1-1 for his side but two second-half goals saw Luis de la Fuente's side win 3-1.

The 22-year-old is enjoying another excellent season at club level with Napoli, registering three goals and three assists in 11 Serie A games. But it was last season where he really stood out as the star player as the Azzurri won their first league title for 33 years.

But Napoli have no intention of selling their star and are actually in talks over a 12-month extension which would tie him down until 2028. And according to Calciomercato, it would take at least £87m for club president Aurelio De Laurentiis to even come to the table.

The report adds that any new contract could include a release clause, although it will likely be far above that £87m mark. City are once again named as an interested party, alongside Chelsea, Newcastle, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Elsewhere, Football Insider has named City as shock potential suitors for the former Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.

Now at Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, Neves was at the centre of a controversial Premier League vote on Tuesday regarding loan deals between associated clubs. The proposal was put forward amid reported interest in the midfielder from Newcastle United, who are majority-owned by the Saudi Public Investment Fund.
