Manchester City will continue their defence of the UEFA Champions League with a Round of 16 tie against Manchester United conquerors FC Copenhagen.

They have faced the Danes four times in their history, drawing the first leg of their UEFA Cup Round of 16 tie in 2009 2-2 before winning the second leg 2-1 thanks to a braze from Craig Bellamy.

City also played Copenhagen in the early stages last season, winning 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium and drawing 0-0 in Denmark. The holders will play the first leg in Denmark during the second or third week of February ahead of the return leg three weeks later.

The Blues breezed through the group stage to become only the second-ever English side to win all six fixtures and were consequently put in pot one.
