Manchester City are considering late moves for Eberechi Eze and Matheus Nunes to bulk up their midfield options before the transfer window closes.

Crystal Palace are understood to value their star playmaker Eze at £70million and have already had success at fending off interest in their exciting players from big clubs this summer after Michael Olise signed a new deal amid interest from City and Chelsea.

Nunes had an impressive debut campaign in the Premier League at Wolves which soon attracted links to Liverpool and now sees him on the Blues' radar.

It's been an uncharacteristically chaotic final few weeks of the transfer window for City who have been left scrambling for options as they cope to deal with a growing injury crisis.

Pakistan Hockey Federation Bans Five Formers Players For Trying To Make Separate Federation
The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Wednesday imposed a life ban on five former Olympians for trying to form a parallel body. PHF President Tariq Bugti said that former Olympian and internationals Nasir Ali, Khalid Bashir, Saleem Nazim, Abbas Ali and Haider Ali had been banned for life. "The PHF found them guilty of trying to run a parallel federation, stealing PHF records and using funds from a PHF account without approval," Bugti said. Since last year after Brigadier (retd) Sajjad Khokar was forced to resign as PHF chief after being in power for more than two terms, a power-struggle is going on between two groups to take control of the PHF.
