Manchester City striker Erling Haaland responded to Alan Shearer's praise after he broke the Premier League record for the most goals scored in a season.
The 22-year-old made history when he scored in the Blues' 3-0 win over West Ham on Wednesday night, scoring his 35th top-flight goal of the campaign.
His second-half strike saw him break the goalscoring record held by Shearer and Andy Cole, who both registered 34 goals in their best seasons.
Newcastle legend Shearer was quick to congratulate Haaland for the incredible feat, albeit after Match of the Day colleague Gary Lineker poked fun at him for losing his title.
