Maik Nawrocki breaks Celtic silence over sideline suffering and insists he never doubted transfer

Maik Nawrocki is adamant he’s never once doubted his move to Celtic. The Polish defender had to endure a frustrating start to his career at Parkhead after being struck down by a serious hamstring injury.

It’s hard enough for any player to go over four months without a game. But, for a 22-year-old living in a new country at a new club, it could have made the bitter situation even harder to handle.

Nawrocki could have been forgiven for having dark days alone where he wondered if even making the move to Glasgow was worthwhile.

But such doubts or feelings of regret never entered the centre-back’s mind at any point. Nawrocki doesn't regret a thing as he explained: “I think it’s normal to think about that, but every time I spoke with someone about it, I never doubted my decision to come here. “I feel I fit in here perfectly.
