Maidstone extended their unbeaten run - but the wait for a National League South home win goes on. In-form Aaron Blair gave United the lead against Slough with a goal on the stroke of half-time.
But the Rebels levelled through Sam Evans after the break and that’s how it stayed after Maidstone missed several chances to grab a winner.
It was no surprise to see the Stones unchanged from the side who comprehensively beat Ebbsfleet in the FA Cup last weekend. With confidence high after a six-match unbeaten run in all competitions, the next challenge was to nail that first home win in the league following two draws and three defeats.
They made a bright start with Sam Corne forcing a decent save from Charle Horlock after Blair’s cross was played back to the edge of the area by Ben Brookes.
