Luke Littler, despite experiencing a heartbreaking loss in the final of Night 2's Premier League Darts competition in Berlin, has once again lived up to his expectations.
Littler made a name for himself with an impressive run at the World Championship, where he reached the final. On his Premier League debut, Littler beat Luke Humphries in the quarter-final of Night 1, only to be narrowly defeated by Michael Smith in the semi-finals.
Despite this setback, Littler put on a strong performance at Night 2 in Berlin. The 17-year-old won his first game against Rob Cross, but lost the final to Michael van Gerwen.
However, he still achieved his goal. "I just want to win that first game every week and get the two points on the board. Then hopefully win the semi and the final," Littler told Sky Sports before the second night of action.
