Lucas di Grassi took victory in the second race at the London E-Prix on Sunday afternoon, denying Jake Dennis a double at the ExCel centre.
Race one on Saturday saw Dennis take pole and victory at the indoor/outdoor venue in east London, with him clearly enjoying the unique track having won there in 2021 as well.
Indeed, he was looking to make it double race win weekend on Sunday and was in prime position to do so as he sealed pole in qualifying, but in the race he was to be denied by di Grassi, who earned his first victory of the season, with Dennis in second and Nyck de Vries in third.
Speaking after the race, the victorious Brazilian said: “It means everything. “Thank you everybody for being here. Congratulations to all my competitors, all the great drivers out there.
