Liverpool got back to winning ways on Tuesday night as they overcame Rangers in the Champions League.
Goals from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah on either side of half-time were enough to see Jurgen Klopp’s side secure a crucial three points at Anfield. Alexander-Arnold’s delightful free-kick in the opening exchanges set the ball rolling for the Reds as they cruised to victory.
After another disappointing result on the domestic front against Brighton over the weekend, Klopp would have been hoping to see a tangible response from his side as they look to get their season back on track.
That is exactly what he got as, after tinkering with his formation, the infamous Liverpool press was back to its devastating best.
