There are delays of more than 30 minutes on the M4 in south Wales on Friday afternoon and warning of "extremely limited" train services.
The good weather and several events going on in Cardiff city centre are adding to normal Friday afternoon delays.As well as Blondie playing at Cardiff Castle, Wales are taking on Armenia at the Cardiff City Stadium, Peter Kay is performing at the Cardiff International Arena, and the Inspiral Carpets are at the Tramshed.
Just before 2pm on Friday there were delays of up to 30 minutes in both directions of the M4 near the Brynglas Tunnels.Great Western Railway has also warned that engineering works in the Severn Tunnel mean they are only providing an extremely limited service.
A signal fault in the Gloucester area this morning has also affected the levels of service into and out of south Wales. The operator urged passengers to allow extra time and check both outward and return journeys.The company says: "An hourly replacement bus service runs from Bristol Parkway to Newport with journey times by road taking around 50 minutes." An hourly train service also runs from London Paddington to Cardiff Central which is stopping at Reading and Swindon before diverting via Gloucester. Follow all the latest updates below:
