Live updates as M4 crash at Pont Abraham causes long delays

There are long delays on the westbound side of the M4 following a crash at Pont Abraham roundabout. One lane of the roundabout is closed following a collision that happened at around 10.45am.

Traffic on the M4 is moving very slow as a result. According to traffic cameras, traffic is moving slowly between Pont Abraham and Hendy.

One person travelling along that route told WalesOnline that the incident added around 30 minutes onto their travel time.There is likely to be extra traffic on the roads in that area as people travel to popular west Wales holiday destinations to make the most of the hot weather this weekend.

Other parts of the M4 that are usually subject to an increase in delays, such as at Port Talbot, appear to be coping well with any with extra traffic at this time. Follow for live updates:
