Leicester City reject 'several' transfer offers from Atletico Madrid for key defender

Leicester City have turned down several offers from Atletico Madrid for full-back Timothy Castagne, according to a report in Belgium.

Castagne is a key member of the City squad and is not one they are interested in losing this summer, though their hand may be forced if the Spanish giants return with an offer too good to refuse.

City supporters will be hoping that is not the case, with the Belgian set for an important role in the backline next season.

Manager Brendan Rodgers made it clear that City will need to move players on before anybody else can come in, but Castagne has not featured on anybody's list of candidates for the exit door.
