Leeds winger Luis Sinisterra is “knocking on the door” for a regular place in the starting XI, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke. The 23-year-old has enjoyed a promising opening couple of months in English football, but he’s yet to establish himself in Jesse Marsch’s team.
Following an outstanding season with Feyenoord, Leeds paid £21m for his services, making him one of nine new arrivals in the recent window.
Having missed the opening day victory over Wolves, though, Sinisterra was restricted to just 57 minutes in his first three top-flight matches.
But after Marsch’s side were beaten at Brighton in late-August, the American manager opted to throw Sinisterra in for his full Premier League debut against Everton.
