Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho has been fortunate enough to live the dream of most 18-year-olds across the last year.

Garnacho has broken into the first team at Old Trafford and he's trained with the sport's greatest-ever players, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, along the way, generational talents who have claimed 12 Ballon d'Or awards between them.

On the back of his fairytale success at the World Cup, Messi is expected to win his eighth Ballon d'Or in October and Garnacho has seen him up close and personal in training for Argentina, just as he did with Ronaldo at Carrington. "Dreams do come true," Garnacho wrote on Instagram when uploading a photo with Messi last year and around 12 months later, he shared a pitch with him for the first time when making his senior Argentina debut against Australia. His debut for Argentina was another milestone in his blossoming career and the noise about Garnacho emerging from the camp has all been positive.
