Norwich City have confirmed Kieran Dowell will leave the club this summer, clearing a path for the playmaker to join Rangers.
The Ibrox side are deep in talks with the former Everton star and are set to make him their first summer signing on a three-year deal.
It comes after Todd Cantwell made the same move in January with Dowell the latest building part of Michael Beale's ongoing squad revamp.
He's out of contract at Norwich in June and the English Championship side have confirmed he will leave the club when his deal expires, along with defender Sam Byram and veteran Northern Ireland keeper Michael McGovern.
