Kevin Durant is expected to make his Phoenix Suns debut Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets, the team announced Tuesday.
Durant has been out since suffering a right MCL sprain on Jan. 8. He took part in all of an intense two-hour workout and scrimmage with Phoenix last week, but still missed Sunday's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Suns landed the 13-time All-Star in a blockbuster deal with the Brooklyn Nets ahead of the trade deadline earlier this month.
Durant is averaging nearly 30 points per game while shooting 55.9% from the field. He joins a Suns team that is a 0.5 game up on the LA Clippers for the No.
