It remains all to play for in the Kent League Premier Division title race with two league matches to go this season. The top three teams - frontrunners Lordswood, second-placed Bexley and Tunbridge Wells in third - won and are separated by only eight points.
Lordswood earned a 45-run win at home to Sevenoaks Vine. Contributions by Jack Laraman (44) and Ed Taylor (43) saw them post a 50-over total of 238-9 while Sam Jones (3-34) and Andrew Reid-Dick (3-43) shone.
In reply, Scotland international Calum MacLeod claimed 3-37 in Vine’s 193-9, despite Chris Vernon’s 50 and 44 from Sevenoaks skipper Luke Schlemmer.
Lordswood finish at home to Minster next weekend and are then away to Holmesdale. Bexley beat basement boys Blackheath by 55 runs.
