Pep Guardiola thinks Manchester City are judged differently to Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea when it comes to dips in form, as he leapt to the defence of his side amid a four game winless run.

City travel to Luton on Sunday looking to stop a run of three draws and a defeat in four Premier League games, which has seen them slip to fourth in the table.

Arsenal have moved six points above the Blues, with Liverpool two points adrift of the Gunners in second and Aston Villa third.

After City lost to Villa this week, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said the 'biggest mistake in football' would be to write off City in the title race.
