Nigerian-born UFC star Israel Adesanya has placed a $10,000 bet on Anthony Joshua ahead of his IBF heavyweight title fight against Daniel Dubois.

The fight is set for September 21, 2024, at Wembley Stadium, England, with 96,000 fans expected to attend.Adesanya, sharing his wager on Instagram on Friday, posted an image of his stake, placed on September 17, 2024.

The caption read, “ÒGÚN‼ This fight got beef…grab the #stake sauce.”The post revealed Adesanya’s bet, picking Joshua to win between the 10th and 12th rounds, with an estimated payout of $50,000.The highly anticipated all-British bout marks Dubois’ first fight at Wembley, adding pressure on the 26-year-old and his team, led by trainer Don Charles.

Despite this, Dubois remains confident, boldly declaring his intention to knock out Joshua.“I aim to knock him out. That’s the programme.
