Jon Dadi Bodvarsson is having a scan on a hamstring strain today but Saturday's trip to Plymouth Argyle will come too soon for the Bolton Wanderers forward.

The Iceland international missed the midweek loss to Aston Villa after picking up the problem following the loss to Sheffield Wednesday.

He is poised to be out for action for up to a fortnight. Wanderers are hoping the injury is not as bad as initially feared. The Whites are managing a few niggles in the squad at present, including a foot injury with skipper Ricardo Santos who returned to form last night against Aston Villa.
