Jesy Nelson distracts ITV This Morning viewers as she makes first solo appearance on the programme

Jesy Nelson caused a distraction as she appeared on This Morning for the first time since becoming a solo artist. The 31-year-old rose to fame as part of Little Mix alongside Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards, but left in 2020 after nine years.

She said in an Instagram post at the time that she was "ready to embark on a new chapter" in her life, and that being in the band had affected her mental health.

Jesy has since go on to launch her solo career, releasing her debut solo single Boyz featuring US rapper Nicki Minaj in October 2021.

After a brief break, the singer is back with her brand new single, Bad Thing, which sees the video depicts scenes from an abusive relationship and was inspired by Jesy's work with the charity Women’s Aid.
