Jamie Redknapp has suggested Jack Grealish is now Pep Guardiola's "go-to guy" at Manchester City following his strong performance in the win over Liverpool.

Guardiola's men secured a convincing 4-1 victory over the Merseyside outfit on Saturday, with Julian Alvarez, Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish all on the scoresheet.

The Blues actually went a goal down after Mohamed Salah put Liverpool in front, but the reigning champions responded in emphatic fashion.

City were without several first-team stars for the clash at the Etihad Stadium, with Erling Haaland, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva all ruled out of the game.
