Jack Lisowski beats Aaron Hill in last 16 of Northern Ireland Open

Aaron Hill's run at the Northern Ireland Open ended on Thursday, when Jack Lisowski defeated the Corkman 4-1.The match turned in the third frame when Hill - trailing 2-0 - built a 51-point lead but let his opponent back on the table.

Lisowski stole the frame and kicked on to make the quarters.He will next face Ricky Walden, who got past Xing Zihao on a 4-1 scoreline.Elsewhere teenager Stan Moody saw his fairytale run ended by a 4-2 defeat to China's Yuan Sijun.Moody only turned 17 last month but three victories had raised hopes of the Halifax prospect becoming the youngest ever ranking event semi-finalist, beating the record set by Paul Hunter at the 1996 Welsh Open.Yuan meets Chris Wakelin - a 4-2 winner over former world champion Shaun Murphy - in the last eight, while Barry Hawkins also eased through with a victory over Robbie Williams.
