Ireland's World Cup fixture details confirmed

The fixture details for the Republic of Ireland's group games at the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand have been confirmed.Certain details had already been known, but now the match timings have been confirmed for their three clashes.Vera Pauw’s side, who will play all of their fixtures in Australia regardless of how far they progress in the tournament, will open up with a clash with the co-hosts on 20 July at 8pm local time and 10am Irish time at the Sydney Football Stadium.Their second match against Canada in Perth at the Perth Rectangular Stadium on 26 July will also take place at 8pm Australian time, and 1pm Irish time.Their final group game against Nigeria, to be held at the Brisbane Stadium on 31 July, will have an 11am Irish time start, 8pm local time.
