Ireland prop Tom O'Toole underwent a scan today after injuring his calf in Ulster’s URC win over Dragons."Tom O’Toole sustained a calf injury in Friday’s URC Round 17 victory against Dragons at home.
He will have an MRI scan today to further assess the extent of this injury," said the province.O’Toole played in all five of Ireland’s Grand Slam matches in the spring and was taken off after just five minutes of Friday night’s penultimate league game at Kingspan Stadium.The Drogheda-born forward was a replacement for Finlay Bealham in the first three games of Ireland's Six Nations campaign before Tadhg Furlong returned for the final two matches.On Saturday night Connacht’s Bealham made his return from a knee injury suffered against Italy, playing 55 minutes of their win over Cardiff.Ulster front row Eric O’Sullivan will go through the return to play protocols following his head injury assessment in the same game.
