Inquest into death of man found dead at country park delayed after key witness charged with robbery

An inquest into the death of a man who was found dead at a Stockport beauty spot is to be delayed after a key witness was charged with a criminal offence.

The body of 26-year-old Keano Byrne, from Gorton, was discovered in a body of water at Reddish Vale Country Park on Friday, April 7 last year.

He had been reported missing on March 27 with Greater Manchester Police (GMP) issuing appeals for information in which they said he was last seen in the early hours of Sunday, March 26, leaving Northumberland Road in Brinnington and walking towards Reddish Vale with another man.
