West Ham target Jesse Lingard is “leaning towards” a move to the London Stadium, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth. David Moyes has been chasing the England international’s signature for the last three windows and Sheth reckons the Hammers boss is finally on the verge of getting his man.
After months of speculation over where Lingard will be playing his football next season, this ongoing transfer saga finally appears to be drawing to a close.
According to The Athletic, Lingard had several offers from the Premier League and also a lucrative one from Saudi Arabia, which would have seen him earn £10m per year.
The report also states that the 29-year-old, who’s a free agent following his release from Manchester United last month, is set to make a final decision on his future by Friday.
