"I've just heard in the past few minutes" - Dharmesh Sheth drops major West Ham transfer update

West Ham target Jesse Lingard is “leaning towards” a move to the London Stadium, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.

David Moyes has been chasing the England international’s signature for the last three windows and Sheth reckons the Hammers boss is finally on the verge of getting his man.

Above all else, Moyes will be a relieved man to finally get this one over the line, not least because talk of a return to the club has been ongoing for 18 months.

But also due to the fact Lingard had interest elsewhere in the Premier League, including Tottenham, the MLS and also the Middle East.

So, for the Hammers to come out on top and beat off competition from some of their top-flight rivals will leave Moyes an extremely satisfied man.
