Erik ten Hag insists he only has one plan to improve Manchester United for next season amid uncertainty over the club's ownership.

United's season ended with a 2-1 FA Cup final defeat to Manchester City, who secured their second league and cup domestic double ahead of potentially emulating United's Treble triumph in the Champions League final next week.

The United co-chairman Avram Glazer was in attendance at Wembley as his family mull over offers from the Ineos Group and Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani to buy the club. The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Wednesday imposed a life ban on five former Olympians for trying to form a parallel body. PHF President Tariq Bugti said that former Olympian and internationals Nasir Ali, Khalid Bashir, Saleem Nazim, Abbas Ali and Haider Ali had been banned for life. "The PHF found them guilty of trying to run a parallel federation, stealing PHF records and using funds from a PHF account without approval," Bugti said.
