Aston Villa could yet make a move for LOSC Lille forward Jonathan David in the current transfer window, according to journalist Dean Jones. The highly-rated 22-year-old is believed to be keen on a move to the Premier League and is attracting interest from a handful of sides following an impressive two-year stint in French football.
French outlet But! claims that Villa and West Ham United are leading the charge for David’s signature, although they could face extensive competition from several top clubs.
