Hull City suffered a second pre-season hammering in the space of three days, and this time it came against League One opposition in the form of Peterborough United.
City produced a lifeless display in losing 3-0 against Grant McCann's Posh, who delivered an exciting performance and deservedly saw off Shota Arveladze's men, who again failed to muster a meaningful attempt at goal.
With less than a week until the Championship season gets underway at home to Bristol City, Arveladze and his group of players have a huge amount of work to do, if they're to avoid starting the season in a similar vein.
While results and performances in pre-season largely mean little, the lack of cohesion and intensity from City is a concern, so too the ease at which League One opposition cut through them at will, not to mention the lack of creativity in the top third of the pitch.
