Manchester City's charge towards the treble is being fuelled by water and lots of sleep as Pep Guardiola seeks to keep his players fresh ahead of a thrilling run-in.

City could have 10 games left to play if they reach the Champions League final in Istanbul on June 10, which would be the end-point of a season of unprecedented length and demand due to the winter World Cup.

That would mean the Blues playing 61 games this season and the fixtures are coming thick and fast now, with Guardiola's side seeking to maintain control of the Premier League title race before a Champions League semi-final with Real Madrid.
